I stink at blogging... and here's the reason why I've titled my 2013 attempt at "writing" Typing Practice; not more than two minutes ago, upstairs while I was washing my face before coming downstairs to fix us all a pancakes & sausage breakfast, I had composed, in my head, the makings of, in my opinion, a fairly decent piece for January 2, 2013.
I'm downstairs now... can't remember an iota of what it was I was so excited to come downstairs to whip out on my brand-spanking new blog. Hence Typing Practice. Am I right people? People?
Who's reading this anyway. There were 30 visits to my first post. I know of only one of my Twitter followers who stopped by to check it out... I want to know who the other 29 were though. Most were from the US, but there were a handful of Canadian hits, one from Germany and one from S. Korea. Cool! I'm international*. *pronounced with a snazzy French accent.
Well here it is. I'm going to spell check and edit now, before sending it out there for, hopefully, more than 30 readers today... actually, probably, three readers because I figure one out of 10 blog visitors, in fact, read the post. Actually, I think I'll have my much-smarter-than-me son proof-read this. I have to start cooking.

Mom didn't do too bad although what should have been a three minute exercise instead took thirty minutes. Good news is there were only two corrections that I made (the change is in blue and the other correction was a deletion).
